Dr. Hena Arora grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and is a life long lover of the city. She completed her undergraduate degree in the GPPA program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and went on to complete medical school at Rush University. She then moved to Milwaukee for 3 years to complete her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and the returned to Chicago for her fellowship, which she completed at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. She has followed in her fathers’ footsteps in becoming a neonatologist. She knew that this was her path from when she was 12 years old, and was taken on weekend trips to the hospital with her dad. She has a special interest in neonatal ethics, and has completed additional training in biomedical ethics at the University of Chicago Maclean Center for Ethics. She puts her whole heart into caring for neonatal patients, and feels a great sense of satisfaction in working with families of her patients.
